Gandy

The Gandy Gallery‘s program was developed in the early 1990s, a time when Europe was defining itself through the convergence of diverse histories, ideologies, and aspirations. The gallery‘s opening in Prague in 1992 marked the beginning of this journey. Today, the gallery represents around thirty artists, primarily from former Soviet republics, whose work explores themes of identity, memory, the body, migration, and archival research. The gallery passionately and resolutely fosters research, discovery, experimentation, and the development of artistic relationships. In 2021, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the gallery founded the non-profit organization ZoomEuropa.
