TOMAS UMRIAN Gallery, founded 2014 by Tomas Umrian, is a Bratislava based gallery dealing in critically acclaimed, important works of contemporary art produced by very young, emerging, and high-caliber Central and Eastern European artists. From the start it has been home to innovative, singular and pioneering exhibitions across a variety of media and genres, tracing the latest trends in contemporary curating. Currently, the gallery represents 17 multi generational artists and hosts 7-8 gallery exhibitions each year. Umrian has been successfully engaging in the art fairs world such as Frieze Masters, FIAC, Artissima, and Art Cologne. The Gallery is working on international projects to bring contemporary EEU art to a broader foreign audience fulfilling its mission to connect EEU and Global contemporary art by publishing books and catalogues, attending art fairs with potential art stars and renowned artists as well as international collectors and curators.
